Leaving your dog home alone can be tough, but at The Common Dog, we make everyday an adventure! Our daycare program provides a safe, enriching and fun-filled environment where every dog gets the attention they deserve. Your pup will get socialized, exercise and engage in activities that bolster their confidence & enhance their relationship with you. We are a training-based facility, so all the dogs that come to The Common Dog receive “Enrichment” where we work with every single dog. Each day we might be focused on encouraging a better group play style, basic commands, holding a stay, agility, leash pulling, basic manners, running on a treadmill or solving puzzles. Providing an environment that truly stimulates each dog helps with anxiety, boredom, manners, learning new skills and more, all of which lead to a better relationship with their owners.

Add something special to their day with our Daycare Training Add-Ons:

All our daycare add-on training options come in packs of 6 sessions and the dates are scheduled at the time of purchase.


  • Nail Maintenance Training aims to desensitize your dog to the nail trimming process through positive reinforcement and confidence building. This program is great for everyone from puppyhood to even reactive, muzzled, and medicated dogs.


  • Play Training uses the power of play to guide your dog through impulse control and teaches manners while having fun. Play training builds the bond between you and your dog through mutual respect and setting boundaries.


  • Position Work Training introduces your dog to heel, center, back-up, and tuck, a great addition to already established obedience.


  • Muzzle Conditioning teaches you & your dog the benefits of muzzling and how that creates a calm, safe environment. This is especially helpful with dogs that have trouble at the vet, being groomed, or “trash grabbing” during walks.


  • E-Collar Conditioning begins the work creating the foundation of using an e-collar, enabling you & your dog to experience the freedom of living “off leash”.

Our Structured Daycare program takes Enrichment to the next level, where a special program is tailored for each dog.

Our 5 main focuses are:


  • Reactivity Workshop – working with dogs that are reactive on leash around other people &/or dogs. We introduce calming behaviors around other dogs in their proximity that are also being trained, increasing their ability to focus.


  • Play Training – utilizing play to create boundaries. When dogs are excited & we still set expectations to follow the rules it is easier to listen to rules when overly aroused.


  • Scent Work/Nose Games – using your dog’s natural instincts to help them build confidence & use their brains!


  • Cooperative Care – helping dogs become more confident & comfortable with activities like brushing, clipping nails, cleaning teeth, etc.


  • Trick Training – keeping your dogs brain working on new things & keeping training fresh & exciting.


Before you can benefit from our Structured Daycare program or learn more about training options, you’ll need to speak with one of our trainers, simply email training@commondog.com. After speaking with a trainer, you can request a spot in our Structured Daycare program through our online client portal.

We understand that choosing the right dog daycare is important, and we’re here to make the decision easy. Our program is designed to provide a safe, fun and enriching experience for every dog that joins us. We offer:


  • Socialization and playtime – Your dog will enjoy supervised play with carefully selected playgroups.
  • Plenty of enrichment – Unlike other facilities, our daycare pricing includes engaging activities designed to stimulate your pup’s mind and body.
  • Flexible scheduling – Drop off as early as 7 a.m. and pick up by 7 p.m. on weekdays. Weekend hours are 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. with early drop off & late pick up available with a reservation.
  • Affordable dog daycare packages – We offer a 10-day package ($410), 20-day package ($758) and 30-day package ($1082) at discounted rates. Second dog discounts apply!


Daycare packages must be used within 90 days of purchase. Every service we offer requires a daycare evaluation before your dog can attend.
