JB and Sam were so phenomenally thorough in how they learned Ozzy's particularities, how he communicates best with his handlers, what really motivates him. They info gathered, applied it in training, and sent us home with takeaways that were manageable and not overwhelming. Most importantly, they understood that we didn't want to be away from Ozzy and that this separation was hard - they kept in touch with funny photos and stories (in addition to the progress updates to show off his new skills!).
I have recently enrolled my two year old golden retriever in their new structured day care program. The program is a perfect balance of playtime, training, one on one interaction and rest. I have noticed a positive change in my pup’s behavior since attending. She is calmer and the training has made such a difference.
Our puppy has been going to The Common Dog for over a year now and we are so GLAD we found them! He loves the staff and they love him! He loves going to day care so much that we cannot say the word "common dog" at home because as soon as he hears the word he thinks he is going to daycare and stands by the door. We have no hesitation leaving him at daycare and their flexible hours and options make life so easy for us! Most importantly, the staff really care for the puppies that go there. The facility is great and the staff make it even better - home away from home for our puppy.
My dog is always incredibly well cared for at the common dog; I highly recommend them to anyone for daycare and grooming. Shout out to Sabrina for always doing an amazing job with the Australian Labradoodle cut- which is tricky, believe me I’ve tried!
Three years ago, we adopted a Senior Dog from a southern rescue. She was held at a local shelter for months and her time there was running out. She came to us in very poor health (mentally and physically) and we never thought that we would still have her with us today, let alone that she would be thriving as she has been! Her time spent at the Common Dog with Staff members who go above and beyond has literally been the best medicine for her. They have taught her to "play" and find joy while building up her confidence and self-esteem. Thank you all!
